- TDV Matrices Kit brings together a selection of materials specifically designed for aesthetic and restorative dentistry work

UNIMATRIX: Using Unimatrix does not require the use of the conventional die holder since the Unimatrix fixture clip will stabilize the die and keep it in the correct position. Silicone protectors at the ends of the clamp provide better die stability. The Unimatrix sectional matrix should be positioned in the interproximal space, with its jagged end facing the gingival region and adapting it slightly below the gingival sulcus. The clamp must be positioned using Unimatrix pliers or clamp holders used for absolute isolation. After restoration, remove the clamp first, then the wedge and finally the die. Composition: Arrays: stainless steel. Clamp: Nickel plated carbon steel. Protectors: silicone.

MATRIXES: The adaptation of the matrix with clamping ring occurs through compression of the ring. The matrix is introduced with the cropped part facing the cervical. The now flattened end of the ring can be folded to the side. If necessary, the matrix conformation can be retouched with the aid of a burner or explorer probe. Once the work is completed, the end of the fastener is cut to extract the die without damaging the restoration. Composition: Fixing system: Aluminum. Matrix: Polyethylene terephthalate or stainless steel.

Elastic wedges: TDV Elastic Wedges are intended for general use in restorative procedures using matrices, with the mechanical function of adapting the matrix and / or retracting adjacent teeth. Choose the proper wedge for the procedure. 1 – Fit the wedge into the clip holder by its 2 larger holes. 2 – Stretch the wedge until the central part is thick enough to slide between the die and the adjacent tooth. 3- Position the wedge in the niche and disengage the tweezers. If necessary install the clamp when using sectional dies. Whether or not the clip is used and how it is installed depends on personal preferences and the clinical situation. 4 – After the procedure, pull the wedge at one end and cut it at the central part, then remove the resulting parts from the patient’s mouth. Composition: Rubber and non-toxic dyes.
