FEATURES
- Better penetration in removing the debris from the canal
- Better stability with an increased shelf life
- Prolonged duration of action
CHLORAXID 5,25% EXTRA is a breakthrough in the irrigation of the root canals. This innovation is the result of adding the surfactants, which effectively increase the properties of the solution on three levels:
- Better Penetration: The decreased surface tension of the solution allows the CHLORAXID EXTRA to perfectly penetrate and invade the dentinal tubules, removing the organic part of the smear layer.
- Better Stability: The prolonged concentration of the active sodium hypochlorite in the preparation CHLORAXID EXTRA ensures keeping its outstanding properties effective during the whole shelf-life. The unique composition of the solution guarantees the accurate concentration of the active substances, even in increased temperature.
- Prolonged Duration: The synergic effect of CHLORAXID EXTRA ingredients prolong the action of the preparation in the root canal, and as a result, there is an immediate and complete breakdown of organic substances.
INDICATIONS
- During the cleaning and shaping of canals, it removes the non-vital pulp debris.
- It cleans the canal, removes the smear layer in order to expose dentinal
tubule orifices before canal filling. - It prevents the teeth from the discoloration that might occur after obturation
DIRECTIONS TO USE
- Step 1: Open the pulp cavity, remove the content to expose the root canal orifices.
- Step 2: Irrigate initially with sodium hypochlorite irrigation solution
- Step 3: Remove the inflamed/infected pulp from a root canal.
- Step 4: Rinse copiously with sodium hypochlorite, simultaneously prepare the canal mechanically – insert the liquid into the root canal by means of the syringe with a needle with side portal.
- Step 5: Aspirate Liquid together with canal content by means of Endo-aspirator.
Note: Sodium hypochlorite contained in the product inactivates immediately in contact with organic substances. While the concentration of sodium hypochlorite is decreasing, the time of rinsing and volume should be simultaneously increased.
While cleaning root canals, it is compulsory to rinse with physiological saline between rinsing sodium hypochlorite and chlorhexidine digluconate. It prevents from precipitating of a deposit. Rinse copiously.
